Salvation in Shakopee Women's Prison

This year, an Adventist woman will give her testimony. She was incarcerated at the Shakopee Women's prison where she attended the Adventist Bible Study group. She was then baptized by an Adventist pastor while incarcerated. She was eventually released and is a current member of the Adventist church.

Watchmen Acappella

Founded in 2017, Watchmen Acappella is a music group based out of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. They have been a melting pot of cultures and talents representing Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria, and Zambia. Their passion for music has always been intertwined with our desire to make a positive impact in the world. Inspired by the scripture Ezekiel 3:17, they are dedicated to spreading hope and unity through their music. Most recently, Watchmen Acappella performed during the 2023 North American Division year end meetings, which is how the Minnesota Conference was inspired to invite them to perform during this year’s Camp meeting.
